BIOSKETCH

I am Director of the Ph.D. Program and a Professor at the Department of Library and Information Science in the School of Communication & Information, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. Prior to this, from 2002 to August, 2004, I was Acting Dean at Pratt Institute, School of Information and Library Science. I was an Associate Professor at Pratt from 1996-2004, tenured in 2001. I have taught courses at the Doctoral, Masters, and undergraduate levels at Rutgers, including Information & Communication Processes, Qualitative Research Methods, Theories and Issues in Library Science, Interpersonal Communication, Reference Services, Management, and Retrieving and Evaluating Electronic Resources.
