A fun Web site at http://www.theprofessors.net has all the stuff about "The Professors," the hottest band at Rutgers, including reviews, band history, gigs, and song lyrics. The group, including Robert Kubey, an associate professor at SCILS, has been playing a mixture of blues, rock, and heavy metal in various living rooms and lecture halls locally, but also has put in appearances at a professional communication convention and a Bleecker Street club, among other venues. Included is a review by the Chronicle of Higher Education (no kidding). While the site displays some tongue-in-cheek puffery, "The Professors" are serious about their music.
